Over the years we've accumulated quite a few samples. Some were constructed as fit or fill samples only and never intended to be produced in the same fabrics as the samples. Others were made as samples to test new sizing or pattern adjustments. It's fun for us to look at some of them and remember our beginnings, sketching patterns and making samples to show manufacturers.
It's not possible to photograph every coat or give complete descriptions, so if you need more information please email. Let us know the coat you are interested in from the list below and we'll pull it from inventory and answer your questions if needed. If you have all the information you need you can order it by size, noting the color you'll receive from the list below. We will not be able to provide you with images, so if you must have a certain shade of blue to bring our your dog's eyes, please shop from our regular line of items. Please DO NOT CALL with questions. We won't be able to answer questions until we pull the coat from inventory. We've done our best to note on the descriptions what's wrong with each or what size in our current line it's closest to. Some are excellent quality but the hoods are enormous because the manufacturer didn't follow our patterns when the first hoods were constructed. Maybe they thought we made coats for Bears. Our solution? We just took off the removable hood.
In this section we have our Goose Down Filled Coats with the Removable Hoods and Reflective Trim. The issue with these for the most part is that the samples were made with enormous hoods and the Velcro is shorter than we normally have on the closures. We've removed the hoods so they won't cover your dog's eyes and you can always add more Velcro if your dog needs it. You'll probably want to wash anything you find in this area and please know items ordered here will not be wrapped in our signature tissue and plastic. They'll be boxed and sent as is, but once you clean them your dog won't mind! Pink in size XS with a royal blue reverse rather than the silver grey we used on the final coat. Velcro is a bit too short and the coat has markings where the Velcro would normally be and there may be marks on the coat indicating the proper placement of the Velcro.
Turquoise in size Large, Velcro is a bit too short and the coat has markings where the Velcro would normally be. These marks may or may not wash off.
